Construction Types
Stringer vs Block Pallets
Stringer Pallets
Use stringers (2x4 or 3x4 boards) to support deck boards. Available in 2-way or partial 4-way entry.

Cons
- Limited entry points

Block Pallets
Use blocks between top and bottom decks. Provide true 4-way entry for forklifts and pallet jacks.

Entry Options
Pallet Entry Types
2-Way Entry
Forklift or pallet jack can enter from two opposite sides.
Partial 4-Way Entry
Forklift can enter from all four sides, but pallet jack only from two sides (notched stringers).
True 4-Way Entry
Both forklifts and pallet jacks can enter from all four sides (block pallets).
